Sachar Mathias is a multimedia executive and producer from Brooklyn, NY. She is the founder and Principal of maiden media–a creative studio and strategic consultancy shaping powerful stories through digital content, live experiences, and brand partnerships. She served as the inaugural Executive Producer of Audio at TIME, where she built and led the audio division of TIME Studios. Before joining TIME, she was the Director of Content at Pushkin Industries, heading the Society & Culture department’s slate of podcasts. Prior to that, she was the Emmy-winning Director of Content at BRIC TV, where she launched the BRIC Radio podcast network.
Her expertise in development, production, editing and distribution spans podcasting, film, tv and digital, and has been highlighted by the DOC NYC, Santa Barbara, Tribeca, and Big Sky International film festivals as well as the Signal Awards and HearSay Int’l Audio Festival. She’s been an adjunct lecturer at the Barry R. Feirstein Graduate School of Cinema and holds a B.A. from Hampshire College in Amherst, MA.
